Probably the hardest part of making a plan is knowing where to start and what order to do things in. When we start with a new group we create a detailed project plan that sets out every step we will take together to get the plan adopted. 

​We act as advisers, assistants and project managers to your team, monitoring progress and prompting you in advance of when things need to be done. We also do all the technical drafting and produce all the documents required, leaving you free to engage with your community, decide what the issues and and help create draft policies.

How long does it take to make a neighbourhood plan?                                 Usually 2-3 years

How much does it cost, and are there grants available?                                Typically around £20,000. Grants will cover most of this.

How much work is involved for a Parish Council?                                          Its not for the faint-hearted! However we can carry most of the load.

Is it worth it?                                                                                                                YES. More control over development and additional income from CIL

Do we need qualified people on the Steering Group?                                       No. We can provide all necessary technical advice

How do we 'bring the community with us' and get them involved?          This is essential, and we can advise based on extensive experience.
